To maintain your ceramic coating’s performance and keep your warranty valid, your vehicle MUST have a monthly maintenance wash carried out by JMS Detailing. Failure to follow this maintenance schedule will void the warranty.
Ceramic coatings provide long-term protection, enhanced gloss, hydrophobic properties, and resistance to environmental contamination. However, they are not maintenance-free. Contaminants such as road film, traffic fallout, iron particles, tar, tree sap, bird droppings, hard water minerals, and other pollutants can build up on the surface. If not removed correctly and regularly, these contaminants can reduce hydrophobic performance, diminish the coating’s effectiveness, and potentially cause permanent damage to the coating and paintwork.
Monthly maintenance washes ensure the coating is inspected, cleaned, and decontaminated using specialist products and techniques designed for ceramic-coated vehicles. During each visit, I will assess the coating’s condition, confirm it is performing as intended, and remove contamination before it causes issues. This helps preserve the coating’s appearance, performance, and longevity throughout the warranty period.
